You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. You do not need to give a reason. The period runs from the day you, or someone you have chosen for this, receive the book.

How it works

1. Within the 14 days, fill in the withdrawal form with your name, email address, order number and your statement. You do not need an account.
2. Confirm your statement in the next step. You are on time if you do this before the 14 days have passed.
3. You will receive an acknowledgement by email with your statement, the date and the time.
4. Pack the book well and send it back to the return address below, within 14 days of your withdrawal.
5. Keep your proof of shipment until you have received your refund.

Refund

We refund you no later than 14 days after the day we received your withdrawal. You get back the price of the book and also the standard shipping costs.

We may wait with the refund until we have received the book, or until you have shown that you sent it back. Whichever comes first counts.

You get the amount back through the payment method you used for your order.

Damaged book

You may look at a book as you would in a shop. Is the book damaged, or has its value dropped because you handled it more than needed to assess it? Then we may deduct that loss of value from the refund.

Wrong or damaged on arrival

Did you receive the wrong book, or was the book already damaged on arrival? Then you do not need to withdraw. Email us at contact@bookwinkel.com with your order number. The costs are then ours.
